Insight 2 Impact Coaching Philosophy
The coaching process supports leaders in achieving the results that are important to their personal and professional success and, where appropriate, the long-term success of the organization within which they lead. We begin with an underlying assumption that our clients carry within them all they could possibly need to be successful and that they are the experts on themselves.
Our role as their coach is to draw out our client's beliefs, intentions, and expertise through inquiry, curiosity, challenge, and support. We help the client secure, process and apply insights from themselves and others to their effectiveness as a leader.
To do that, we use a variety of assessments, inquiry techniques, self-observation exercises, and behavioral practices to help them uncover inner wisdom and stimulate new possibilities. We help them focus on those things that support and/or get in the way of their overall leadership effectiveness.
Our role as coaches is distinct from consulting, advising, therapy, counseling or mentoring. However, coaching does address personal issues or life conditions that may be impacting a leader’s professional effectiveness.
